I finally got the pictures up from Payton's Birthday, just a little late. I guess the summer got away from me. Check out the progress on the basement also. We are working on it here and there, trying to get it done when Payton sleeps. There isn't much time for it but we do have some things accomplished.

Hello!
It has been awhile since I have updated the site. It is hard to find time when I am always chasing an almost 2 year old. Check out the pics page for some recent pictures. I learned that it is very hard to take pictures of Payton with a digital camera, cause he is just too fast for it. I will add some pics after his 2nd birthday.

Christmas Letter
Dear Family and Friends,
I hope this letter reaches everyone happy after a great Christmas. I am sorry this is so late. December has been one busy month. We had 2 Christmas's this year. One with the Wolbeck's and one with the Rasmussen's. The Wolbeck Christmas was a week before the actual holiday. We spent the weekend there and Payton was sick with the flu for about 5 days during that time. The Wednesday after that, Camille flew in from California and we spent some much needed sister time together for a few days before he headed down to our parents house for Christmas.
I started out the year with a defining career move. I decided to quit my job at the wholesale greenhouse to become a full-time mom. I had been working part-time from home and had been going into work 3 days a week during the busy Christmas season. After the first of the year is the dead time of the business and everyone was laid off, I then assumed too much work to handle at home with my growing boy. After much deliberation and and some upset people, I quit and haven't been happier spending my days with my little boy.
James has been furthering his career in the past year. Since starting his job last October 31st, he has been promoted twice and now is the manager over all the service technicians. Despite the long hours and weekend work, he still is studying for certifications with Microsoft in his free time. He also spends some time with his pool league with co-workers and friends. The rest of his precious time is spent at home with us.
Payton has grown a lot in the past year. He started the year as a cuddly baby and now is a full blown toddler. He is up to 25.8 pounds and 33 inches tall. He is gonna be tall and skinny like his daddy. He is now 18 months old and the doctor said he is doing perfect in development. He says over 70 words and loves tractors, puppies, kitties, 4-wheelers, trains and books. I am sure the next year will be even more fun.

Thanks for visiting our page. Today is the day before my birthday and we are just relaxing at home before the big partying starts. It is cold here again about 40 degrees, so we will have to keep Payton inside for most of the day. He will not be too happy about that. Keep checking back for news and new pictures.
